Hyundai Motor America Gets Ready To Donate Over 2,000 Turkeys In The Orange County, CA Area

Thanksgiving is a time for all of your family and friends to get together, enjoy a nice warm meal, usually with a turkey or two, and be thankful for everything that you have. Unfortunately, not everyone can afford to celebrate in this way. That's why Hyundai Motor America is preparing to donate over 2,000 turkeys to the families that need it. Zafar Brooks, Hyundai's Director of Corporate Social Responsibility commented, "Hyundai Motor America is committed to giving back to the community and helping its neighbors during times of need." He also continues, "This recent donation of 2,000 fresh frozen turkeys is a practical way to assist families in time for the Thanksgiving holiday."

Besides turkeys, the Hyundai Motor America company is also hosting its annual food drive at its headquarters. Their employees are encouraged to donate what they can and Hyundai Motor America company would like to extend this invitation to donate can goods and non-perishable items to the public as well. If you would like, you can drop off your donations to one of these five locations in Fountain Valley.

  • The Fountain Valley Senior Center, 17967 Bushard St.
  • Fountain Valley Recreation Center, 16500 Brookhurst St.
  • Fountain Valley City Hall Builiding, 10200 Slater Ave.
  • The Fountain Valley Bowl, 17110 Brookhurst St.
  • Fountain Valley Chamber of Commerce, 10055 Slater Ave #250

All of these donations will be given to the Share Our Shelves non-profit organization. This organization provides over 60,000 meals a year to those that need it in Orange County. If you can't make it to any of these locations, feel free to drop your donation off directly at Share Our Shelves.
